  • If you are unable to get shuttle tickets don’t fret too much. There is still a lot to see and do. Kolob Canyon has an entrance with some great views and trails. We did the Timber Creek Overlook Trail....  more »

  • This is a park you could spend three days at easily. And you may want to extend your stay because you might be sore if you are an ambitious hiker like myself. Angels Landing is very popular however I believe the better view is the entire canyon overlook. I sprinted that up and back. Woke up the next day and had a permit to hike the subway. So I did that. And by the end of those two hikes my legs were pretty destroyed. I highly Recommend those two hikes after that go ice bath in the Narrows for recovery. This park has so much to offer. Couldn’t recommend it anymore. Wildlife, vistas, great visitor center, unbelievably challenging hikes. It’s number one of the mighty five in Utah in my opinion
  • This is a great national park with very nice scenery. I drove in through the east entrance where I saw some mountain goats, which was nice. I drove through the tunnel to be welcomed by wonderful scenery on the other side. There was a lot of traffic, which ruined the scenery. I went to the visitor center, which was very busy. I spent a long time looking for parking because the parking lot was full. Due to the amount of people in the park, people weren’t allowed to drive their cars along the road that goes up to the attractions, so I had to take a shuttle bus instead after I found a parking spot. I got on the shuttle bus and went to The Narrows trail, which was very pretty. I walked along the trail up to the part where I had to go into the river itself. I would have liked to do that, but I unfortunately did not have enough time due to the fact that I had to drive to Las Vegas Airport and fly from there that night. I walked back, got in the shuttle bus, and left. I got off at the visitor center and left the park. Even though there were large crowds, my experience at Zion was still very nice.
